Field notes

01

The map is not the work

Everyone wants a glowing path on a map. The work is cut-off times, bag constraints, and a carrier who will not take a parcel after 16:00 on Thursdays. Encode those first. The path is a rendering.

02

Don't let the solver lie

A solver that returns an infeasible beautiful route is worse than a clerk with a spreadsheet. We made infeasibility a first-class output: say no, with the constraint that fired.

03

Exceptions are the product

The 4pm exception is not an edge case. It is Thursday. If your 'AI routing' cannot name the constraint it hit, operations will keep a shadow spreadsheet and you will not know.
